The Instruction for Claims

  1. Check package containing cargo before acceptance.
  2. If you meet the mistake or the damage of the cargo, please remark the damage in delivery receipt.
  3. In case of the shipping containers should check the containers and seal. If damage or suspect has occurred, should collect the evidence and inform the carriers, shipping agents and insurance agents immediately.
  4. You have to submit a written request letter to the carriers/shipping agents for liability in damages occurred immediately.
  5. To give notice in writing to the Carriers of other Bailees within 3 days of delivery if the loss or damage was not apparent at the time of taking delivery.
  6. To inform immediately on Insurance Agents and/or the surveyor which stated in the policy to investigate the extent of damage.

Documentation of Claims

  1. Original policy.or certificate of insurance.
  2. Invoice together with shipping specification and/or weight notes.
  3. Original B/L or other contract of carriage.
  4. Survey report of other documentary evidence to show the extent of the loss or damage ex. Survey Report, Wharf Survey Note, Damaged Cargo List, Short and Overlanded Cargo List, Cargo Boat Note, Way Bill etc.
  5. Correspondence exchanged with the carriers and other parties regarding their liability for the loss or damage.
  6. Claim letter and claim bill.
