Nature of Business
1. UNDERWRITING
Direct insurance is underwritten through agents, brokers, corporate brokers, and branches of the Company. Proportion of direct insurance is more than 90% of the total written premium.
Reinsurance and retrocession are ceded to and accepted from other insurance companies to spread risks.
2. INVESTMENT
The Company makes investments to manage its revenue in order to allocate insurance reserves to be sufficient for the obligations to insurance creditors. The type and proportion of investment must comply with the Notification of the Insurance Commission (OIC) Re: Investments in other businesses of Non-Life Insurance Companies B.E. 2556 and amended version. The investment is diversified in various types of assets such as deposits with financial institutions, promissory notes, government bonds, debentures, stocks and unit trusts.
BUSINESS OBJECTIVE
The management has reviewed strategic plans and policies annually. In 2022, the Board of Directors approved the strategic plan and business direction that focused on maintaining and expanding the insurance customer base and business relationship with various producers; developing products and distribution channels to increase sales; applying technology in work processes to increase efficiency of work, service and cost management, supporting the compliance with laws and regulations as well as developing personnel for more potential and better service.
